August 22 - September 19, 2009 - My group, together with collaborators a the University of Oregon, successfully completed a major tomographic experiment on the Endeavour Segment on the Juan de Fuca Ridge. Several radical Canadian environmental groups cynically tried to stop the experiment through a lawsuits and a barage of misinformation but succeeded only in delaying it by one day. Learn more about the experiment and the environmental controversy here.
